Satisfy your cravings for moules frites
The need for fun and interesting events in Copenhagen has never been greater, now that the majority of the population spend their holidays in Denmark. Fortunately for that, the Danish restaurateurs are just as hungry for guests as the Danes are for new experiences. Therefore, 16 restaurants, the French water brand Perrier and Madbillet have joined forces to create the Moules Frites festival.
The virus that shares its name with a Mexican beer brand has forced many of us to a staycation in Denmark. While the beer tastes good with a slice of lime on a warm summer day at the beach, neither the sweetest citrus fruits nor soft waves can wash the crisis down with a nice aftertaste. But that must not mess up the entire summer time.
Based on one of the season’s favorite foods, the world-famous mineral water Perrier has collaborated with a number of Danish restaurants to celebrate the Danish summer with a new so-called ‘Moules Frites festival’. It takes place from 27 July to 2 August at selected restaurants in Copenhagen and other cities in the country.
The concept for the Moules Frites festival is that guests can choose from any of the participating restaurants, who all offer a round of moules frites and a 33 cl. Perrier for 125 kroner per person. Most of the restaurants are in Copenhagen, but guests can also dine in Aalborg, Roskilde and Rungsted.
The participating restaurants are:
- Barock
- Bøf & Ost
- Cap Horn
- Chez Bruno
- French Market
- Guldmagerens Hus
- Havfruen
- Huks Fluks
- 22 Bistro
- Nyhavn 37
- Nyhavn Skipperkroen
- Pio Vinbar
- Provence
- Restaurant Upstairs
- Ved Kajen – Nyhavn
- Zeleste
