The beautiful hotel Schæffergården, owned by the Foundation for Danish-Norwegian Cooperation, is located in Gentofte just outside Copenhagen.

Schæffergården houses Restaurant Wohlert that is open to everyone, no matter if you are a guest of the hotel or not. The restaurant is named after and designed by the architect Wilhelm Wohlert, who is known for the design of the art museum Louisiana Museum of Modern Art.

The menu changes with the seasons and examples of dishes are poached ray wing with purée of jerusalem artichokes and veal with white asparagus, fresh green peas and sauce bordelaise with marrow and new potatoes.
