About Kerne Pavillonen

Kerne Pavillonen is the new restaurant at Planetariet, which offers Copenhagen’s most beautiful view over Sankt Jørgen’s lake.

The chefs in the kitchen bear the North in their hearts, and they are passionated about the “smørrebrød” (open sandwich) with an open mindset and inspiration from all over the world.

If you are up for a brunch, you can put together your own with 3-7 dishes, so you are getting all of your favourites – and you can freely choose more of the same dish, no matter if your favourite is organic skyr, smoked salmon, homebaked cinnamon roll or another dish from the brunch menu.

At Kerne Pavillonen, you can withdraw from the throbbing city life and enjoy the beautiful view over Sankt Jørgen’s lake and the encircling green trees. The place is tastefully decorated with a Nordic simplicity, and the nature has been invited inside the restaurant. It’s hard not to give into the surroundings.

Kerne Pavillonen contains an orangery, eatery, bar and a large covered terrace with a direct access to the lakes. The place is ideal for big parties, conferences and other events – or just a small lunch with a few good pieces of smørrebrød.
