Copenhagen Cooking launches this years program
Tuesday, the food festival Copenhagen Cooking launched an extensive food program for 2022. The festival will take place in August, and this year addresses the need to be together after a pandemic that forced people apart
The program counts about 100 different food events when the annual food festival Copenhagen Cooking takes place from the 19th-28th of August. Collaboration, deliciousness, and learning are this year’s themes, so whether you are looking for a good dining experience or learning new food crafts, there is something for you to find. The food festival offers dinners, courses, and talks throughout Copenhagen. “Copenhagen Cooking is about the combination of good food experiences and all the big questions hiding under the plate. Which trends are emerging? How should we produce our food? And how do we make it more delicious to eat more sustainably? We are proud to create the framework for a festival that celebrates the food and those who work with the ingredients, and we are pleased that the many tasty events in this year’s program reflect a food scene in rapid development “, says the CEO of Food Organization of Denmark, Pelle Øby Andersen.
The festival offers, among other things, a gastronomic walk at dusk, summer desserts with Summerbird, Chinese brunch, seafood dinner beneath the stars, a long table dinner on Ægirsgade in Nørrebro, intimate caviar dinner, and a harvest party in The Grey Meatpacking District and much more.
