The team behind Kaptajn is the two guys Patrick and Johann. Together, they share a passion for especially good food and service, and then they share the wine bar Ancestrale on Vesterbro and Kaptajn on Nørrebro.
In the new year, Kaptajn will relaunch and divide the place into two sections. One of them will be a gourmet restaurant with 16 seats and Michelin ambitions, but where the informal still exists. The menu will consist of 10 to 15 dishes for 600 kroner.
The other part is the bar area which will be turned into a walk-in wine bar, where you can enjoy comfort dishes for 95 kroner per dish. Depending on which section you choose, you can enjoy your visit with a view over Sortedam Dossering or the pulsating life on Fredensgade on the boundary between Nørrebro and Østerbro.
